At the heart of OBELIU CRAFTED VODKA are the spirits made at OBELIU DISTILLERY, the distillery built in 1907 by the last count of Rokiskis, Jonas Psezdeckis, a man of refined taste and unwavering principles. When we say principles, we mean principles. He died for them in the 1944 Warsaw Uprising.

Spirits here were made by counts and countesses. No, not “sort of made” but handmade by the hands of the very counts and countesses. Handmade by people with no compromise. Best or nothing. So it was, yesterday. So it is, today.
There is no big secret in how spirits are made. But we have a special recipe to reach the finest quality in our drinks. A very important part of it – is putting a product for long rest before bottling it.

INGREDIENTS

yield: 1 drink

30 ml
of Obeliu Crafted Vodka

15 ml
of Amaretto

Maraschino cherry

It is an easy one, but keep in mind
that the order of the steps is essential.

DIRECTIONS

prep time: 2 min

1. Begin with ice – put 3 cubes into old fashioned glass. Now slowly pour vodka. Do you hear the ice cracking? Nice.

2. Time for Amaretto. Pour it in and enjoy the mixing of the colour. What’s left – is a gentle stir and a cherry on top.

Here you go. Enjoy your Godmother.
