1907

Przezdziecki family establish the distillery in Obeliai, but it only operates seasonally.

1918

The war takes over the whole Europe, so the distillery becomes a refugee hospital, but the production continues.

1932

Aleksander Kazimierz Przezdziecki takes over the rights to the distillery and instantly modernises it – a powerful turbine is installed. The distillery becomes one of the most advanced in Europe.

1940

The atrocities of the Second World War reach Lithuania, so count Przezdziecki is forced to flee to Poland with his family, leaving all his all of his belongings and property behind.

1945

The Soviets nationalize the distillery and begin to operate it in small quantities of bottles.

1991

After re-establishment of the independence of Lithuania the distillery is acquired by „Vilniaus degtinė“ and important renovations are made.

2003

The distillery becomes a part of the international MBWS group.

2016

A complete reconstruction and modernisation of the factory is implemented making it to become a leader in the region.
